Now Hiring: Infrastructure Analyst / Network Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst / Network Engineer to support and maintain mission-critical Train Control Systems in a high-availability, real-time environment.

This is a hands-on role supporting 24/7 operational systems that ensure continuous train movement and network reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, maintain, and support Train Control computer systems and network infrastructure
Implement hardware and software upgrades to maintain secure and reliable operations
Lead technical analysis, design, and enhancement of Train Control Systems
Support 24/7 fault-tolerant network environments
Configure and maintain RedHat and Windows systems
Configure and support routers, switches, and firewalls
Develop and monitor network security policies
Create operating and troubleshooting procedures
Support emergency response and on-call rotations
Maintain system documentation and network architecture standards
Collaborate with internal teams and external technical specialists

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in real-time SCADA control systems
7+ years of networking and server OS experience
Strong knowledge of:
SCADA systems operations
RedHat & Windows environments
Routers, switches, firewalls
Network security best practices
Hardware/software lifecycle management
Experience handling high-pressure, time-sensitive system outages
Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years in SCADA and real-time control systems
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Knowledge of railroad operations, signaling, and electrification concepts
