Job Specifications

Position: Mid-Level Security Engineer

Location: Rockville, MD /Tysons, VA - 3 days Hybrid – Local Preferred

Role: Building security tooling, integrations, and automations (especially automations) across a cloud environment (primarily AWS). Will work mainly with senior security engineers on automation aspects. Will support initiatives to automate different aspects of security

Note: this is not vulnerability management support; this is more on the engineering solutions/tooling side.

Must-haves:

• Security concepts understanding

• Automation

• Python and Bash scripting

• AWS (Lambda, RDS, serverless, etc.)ßif just exposure but super quick learner, that’s okay

• Strong communication

Nice to have:

• Devsecops

• Azure, GCP
