Avanciers is hiring a Legal Business Analyst for one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Title: Legal Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX/ Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal Business Analyst with strong experience in legal processes and enterprise legal management systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Litify (preferred) or other Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) platforms, along with expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping. A paralegal background is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and document business and functional requirements.
Develop and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and other business review documents.
Analyze gathered information and create affinity diagrams to identify themes and priorities.
Design swimlanes, user journeys, and process maps to represent stakeholder workflows.
Model legal workflows including intake, matter management, billing, and in-course processes.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Ensure stakeholder alignment and support QA/testing to validate requirements.
Utilize JIRA for tracking requirements and managing workflows.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of legal domain processes.
Hands-on experience with Litify or other Enterprise Legal Management systems.
Experience creating BRD, FRD, and process documentation.
Proficiency in JIRA.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
