Position Summary

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT systems and network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable performance of hardware, software, and network systems across administration, retail, production, and hospitality departments.

This is a hands-on role requiring both user support and system administration responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain company IT infrastructure (workstations, network, servers)

Manage Microsoft 365 environment (user accounts, permissions, security settings)

Monitor system and network performance

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software

Perform system backups and support disaster recovery processes

Support retail POS and operational systems

Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices (updates, antivirus, access controls)

Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory

Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and service providers

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration

Working knowledge of:

Windows Server & desktop environments

Microsoft 365 administration

LAN/WAN networking

Basic cybersecurity principles

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

IT certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are an asset
