Summary

We are seeking an AI Architect to join our dynamic team at PolicyAdvisor Brokerage (PAB) Inc. As an AI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced AI solutions that enhance our digital insurance platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of insurance technology in Canada.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI solutions that improve user experience and automate insurance workflows
Leverage technologies like RAG, semantic search, and speech AI for real-time advisor-client interactions
Collaborate across teams to integrate features, analyze data, and improve platform performance
Ensure code quality, cloud scalability, cybersecurity, and data privacy compliance
Stay up to date with the latest in AI/ML, and contribute to documentation, testing, and system optimization
Design and develop AI models and algorithms to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our existing systems.
Analyze large datasets to derive insights and inform decision-making processes.
Ensure scalability and performance of AI applications within the cloud environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to AI and machine learning.
Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of new features for our insurance platform.
Support data analysis, system integration, and automation tasks to improve business processes.
Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and product feedback sessions.
Document technical processes and contribute to the improvement of internal systems.
Assist in maintaining cybersecurity protocols and ensuring data privacy compliance.
designing, coding, and evaluating software applications to meet user and business requirements
debugging and troubleshooting software issues to ensure smooth functionality and performance
collaborating with designers, PMs (project managers), and other developers to build and improve applications
maintaining and optimizing code for efficiency, scalability and security
writing and maintaining technical documentation for future reference and team collaboration
remaining current with best practices and emerging technologies to improve development processes

Requirements

Proven experience as an AI Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful AI projects
Proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Next.js, and Node.js
Experience working with big data technologies and frameworks like Apache Spark
Familiarity with cloud platforms—especially AWS—for deploying and managing AI solutions
Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices in data management
