About The Role

This role supports the Group Privacy & AI Governance function in developing and maintaining technical privacy solutions across the organisation. It is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to build hands‑on experience in privacy engineering within a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of privacy controls in digital products and services.
Assist in developing data anonymisation, pseudonymisation and encryption solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed privacy by design and by default principles.
Contribute to privacy risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
Help create and maintain technical privacy documentation such as data flow diagrams.
Support compliance monitoring against global privacy regulations and standards.
Provide input into incident response activities and data breach investigations.
Participate in privacy training and awareness initiatives for technical teams.
Assist with managing privacy technologies, including cookie management tools and OneTrust.
Contribute to technical reviews of digital products to ensure alignment with privacy standards.

About You

Degree in a relevant field such as Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or Data Protection, or hold certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPT.
Foundational knowledge of privacy and cyber security principles, alongside basic coding or software development experience.
Building solutions, solving problems, and applying a pragmatic, hands‑on approach.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Motivated to learn and grow within a global organisation, with willingness to travel internationally when required.
