We’re Hiring – Fire & Security Engineer (Future Department Manager)

REF Electrics Taunton Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our team in Taunton, Somerset.

This is not just another engineering role. We are looking for someone who wants to help build and develop our Fire & Security division, with the long-term opportunity to manage and run the department within REF Electrics.

The Role

Initially, this will be a hybrid position, combining:

• On-site installation, servicing and commissioning

• Office-based work including surveys, quoting and system design

Over time, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and leading our Fire & Security department.

Systems you’ll work with

• Fire alarm systems

• CCTV

• Intruder alarms

• Access control

Salary & Benefits

• £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience

• Company vehicle

• Company pension

• JIB benefits package

• Opportunity for salary growth as the department develops and becomes established

Location: Taunton, Somerset (with travel across the South West)

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in fire and security systems

Motivated and organised

Interested in progressing into a leadership/management role
