About Us

Voices is the trusted voice partner for brands, tech and voice talent. Voices helps scale real voice solutions, across traditional voiceover, Voice AI, and ethically sourced voice data. For more than two decades, the biggest and most beloved brands have trusted Voices to find their voices and bring their projects to life.

Why join us? We’re on a mission to shape the future of voice, and we’re building a team that’s curious, collaborative, and passionate about making great ideas heard.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative, you will act as a brand ambassador for Voices and the engine of our sales organization. This role is unique because you are not just making calls; you are the first point of contact implementing an effective sales approach that directly sets our company apart in a competitive market. You will thrive on a high-velocity team, prioritizing a high volume of daily outreach to uncover business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and expand our reach. If you are a confident communicator who enjoys the hunt for new business and wants to see your daily activities translate into tangible revenue growth, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the following key areas:

High-Volume Prospecting: Execute a consistent outbound cadence—averaging 50–70 calls per day alongside email and social media outreach—to initiate contact with cold and warm leads.
Strategic Pipeline Generation: Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads within defined target markets, ensuring a consistently refreshed pipeline of qualified prospects across new and existing client segments.
Consultative Qualification: Utilize consultative discovery techniques to assess prospect fit regarding Budget, Authority, Need, and Timing (BANT), ensuring higher-quality meetings and improved conversion rates.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to schedule product demonstrations and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
Data & Performance Management: Maintain rigorous hygiene in Salesforce (or similar CRM) by documenting all activities and delivering performance reporting to provide visibility into optimization opportunities.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively refine outreach strategies based on performance data, prospect feedback, and collaboration with sales and marketing partners to increase win rates.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings some or all of the following:

Proven B2B Sales Experience: You have a track record of booking new business meetings through outbound efforts, successfully converting both cold leads and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
Resilience & Drive: You are self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing a high-volume cadence (50–70 dials/day) while meeting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Consultative Mindset: You possess a strong "Customer Focus" and "Relationship Building" mindset, allowing you to deeply understand client needs and position tailored solutions rather than just reading a script.
Tech Proficiency: You have hands-on experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM to track leads, document activity, and report on performance.
Strong Communication: You are confident on the phone with the ability to bridge the gap between a lead and a sale through clear, professional communication.
Travel Readiness: You possess a valid passport and are willing to travel for in-market opportunities when required.

Perks & Benefits

In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of perks that support your growth, wellbeing, and day-to-day flexibility. Here’s what you can look forward to:

Generous Vacation: We offer 15 days of annual vacation (pro-rated for your first year), plus additional paid leave during our scheduled summer and winter holiday closures.
Personal Time: Take care of what matters with 5 paid personal days and 3 unpaid personal days annually
Comprehensive Health Coverage: Access to health and dental benefits after just 3 months of employment
Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work environment
Performance Bonus Program: Recognizing your impact with bonus opportunities tied to company and individual performance
Learning & Development Support: We invest in your growth with a dedicated L&D budget and coverage for platforms like LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, Codecademy, and more
Community Impact: We empower you to give back with 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually, allowing you to support the causes and nonprofits that matter most to you.
A Great Team: Work with genuinely kind, smart, and talented people who love what they do (and know how to have fun doing it).
