This role is a contract assignment at Palo Alto Networks. Contractors will not be employed by Palo Alto Networks but through our trusted staffing partners.

Location – London, UK (3x office in a week )
Duration – 9 Months

Job Description

As an Onboarding Specialist you will play a pivotal role in demonstrating our company culture and making the best rst impression. If you are a self-starter and looking for a role that helps createa great new hire experience, this is it!

This individual will provide a positive onboarding experience to all new hires from offer stage through their rst week at Palo Alto Networks.

Your Impact

Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires by ensuring all aspects of onboarding are completed accurately and timely including
Management of offer generation
Management of background checks through a third-party vendor
Management of identify verication through a third-party vendor
Management of accurate onboarding data in Workday, Smart Recruiters, and other systems
Adhere to processes and adjudication guidelines, but have the ability to think outside the box for issues that arise outside stated guidelines and provide recommendations to lead prior to moving forward
Manage and provide early intervention and support for the resolution to issues as they are identied and help to implement long-term solutions
Serve as a key member and active participant of the Stafng Operations team, offering ideas and suggestions to address gaps/roadblocks and present scalable solutions
Share best practices and areas of improvement that will positively impact the team (thinking big)
Provide support for a variety of administrative activities requiring knowledge of organizational procedures, methodologies, and business practices
Own the entire new hire’s onboarding experience including: coordinate via Workday Onboarding platform and email with new hires regarding onboarding requirements, background check documentation, Welcome Day, and ensure all required information is returned in a timely manner

Procient at handling high volumes of work and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
Procient in use of MS Ofce Suite or G Suite
Understanding of the entire candidate/employee lifecycle, with ability to recommend process-oriented, technical, and/or operational solutions to improve the overall experience
Meticulous attention-to-detail with consistent follow up
Critical thinking and problem-solving is an absolute must
Background check experience is highly preferred
Experience with the following tools a plus: Workday, ServiceNow, Smart Recruiters, and DocuSign
