Job Specifications

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to play a critical role in finalizing a PMO restructuring initiative and supporting a portfolio of large-scale state system overhaul projects. This role is highly visible and requires a professional who can bring order to complex, fast-moving environments, ensure accountability across teams, and confidently engage with senior business units and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly adaptable, and comfortable operating in public-facing and politically sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, establishing structure, cadence, and accountability in complex project environments

• Bring clarity and organization to ambiguous or evolving initiatives by defining processes, timelines, and delivery expectations

• Support the completion of PMO restructuring efforts by standardizing intake, delivery, and reporting practices

• Facilitate effective communication between business analysis, intake, and project management functions

• Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies, stakeholder briefings, and executive-level communications

• Partner with senior business units to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery

• Track progress, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as appropriate in a transparent and professional manner

• Support ongoing modernization and overhaul of state systems, ensuring disciplined execution and delivery

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Scrum Master, Project Management, or related delivery roles

• Strong background in IT and project management, with the ability to work across technical and business teams

• Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-visibility initiatives in public-sector or regulated environments

• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to brief and engage senior leaders and stakeholders

• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Microsoft Office tool
