Role Summary
AUTOSOL is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our AIM Program, a structured early-career development program designed to prepare engineers for long-term careers in SCADA, automation, and industrial software.
Junior Engineers support live SCADA projects under the guidance of experienced engineers while participating in formal training, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Placement within the organization (Application Engineering, SCADA Integration, Communications, or Software Support) will be based on business needs and the candidate’s interests and skills.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow into customer-facing technical roles.
Key Responsibilities
Support SCADA and industrial automation projects under supervision
Execute assigned engineering tasks such as:
– Tag creation and configuration
– Basic scripting and logic updates
– System testing and validation
– Documentation and diagram updates
Participate in structured training sessions and internal workshops
Learn common SCADA tools, architectures, and communication protocols
Assist with troubleshooting and system verification
Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal tools and documentation

Structured onboarding and technical training
One-on-one mentorship from experienced engineers
Hands-on project experience with real customer systems
Exposure to multiple industries, including Oil & Gas and Utilities
Support toward relevant certifications and skill development
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (or near completion) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
Strong interest in automation, SCADA, or industrial systems
Basic understanding of programming, networking, or control systems concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred (not Required)
Exposure to SCADA platforms, PLCs, RTUs, or industrial protocols
Basic scripting or programming experience (Python, Java, SQL, or similar)
Internship, lab, or project experience in automation or software
Interest in customer-facing technical roles
