Job Specifications

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a growing Data Services team supporting enterprise data platforms and BI systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing data and reporting infrastructure used across global business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux administration, SQL, BI platforms, and DevOps automation, and will play a key role in designing and supporting enterprise data and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain BI applications and infrastructure across Production, QA, and Development environments
Administer BI platforms including security, patching, capacity management, and performance tuning
Monitor system health and troubleshoot infrastructure or application issues
Maintain Linux server environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructure
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Collaborate with development and business teams to support a healthy end-to-end SDLC
Implement and maintain solutions for data governance, security, and compliance
Build automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks
Develop monitoring and reporting dashboards for platform usage and performance
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with SQL and Linux administration
Hands-on experience managing Linux servers (patching, access control, monitoring)
Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar BI/reporting platforms
Knowledge of Data Warehousing and relational database concepts
Experience building automation using Python or Shell scripting
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building monitoring frameworks for BI platform usage and reporting
Experience using REST APIs for automation and platform integrations
Familiarity with data governance and enterprise security practices
