Job Specifications

International Bank based in London, are looking to recruit an Assistant Manager - Investment Operations to join their Operations Team, on a 6 month FTC.

The Investment Operations functions that will need to be covered include but are not limited to:

Portfolio Establishment and all maintenance thereafter
Security set up
Security Valuation including valuation of all London held securities
Rebate receipts and processing
Trade allocations
Market Settlements
Contract Notes
Client reporting
Asset servicing (all applicable corporate actions)
Custody and Cash reconciliations
MI preparation including CMAR preparation and validation
Pricing checks and monitoring
Regulatory transaction reporting requirements – MiFID
Client account fees processing
Custody vendor invoice processing

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant Operations role is essential.
Asset Servicing experience in processing of Corporate Actions (Optional and Mandatory events) and Income Processing
Good understanding of front to back operational processes and regulatory requirements around performing these tasks (COBS, COLL, SYSC and CASS).
Up to date knowledge and understanding of the FCA CASS rules relating to operational processes.
Ability to take on projects to improve processes, move of activity to other location, implementing new processes appropriately.
Sound knowledge of financial products life cycle
Further experience in Banking Operations would be preferable
