Job Summary
ProLift, a national leader in full-service rigging and transportation solutions, is actively seeking a Junior Application Developer with a proven track record of a problem-solving mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Our organization thrives on excellence in project management, engineering, and specialized lifting and hauling of equipment, and we are looking for a strong team member that supports our teams with scalable technical solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Junior Application Developer will contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of systems that will help ProLift’s core business functions excel.
Responsibilities
The Junior Application Developer will serve the following responsibilities:
Provide operational support for existing systems, infrastructure, and connections to assist internal users and customers
Develop new internal applications, pipelines, and integrations, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues as needed
Connect new and existing organizational platforms to ensure technical footprint meets operational requirements
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence department by contributing to process documentation, requirements gathering, and continuous improvement initiatives
Coordinate with outsourced IT on network, hardware, and information security projects as required
Actively work alongside branches, other departments, and the Strategic Leadership Team to create meaningful solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with object-oriented programming
Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
Fundamental understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and basic API authentication
Experience with relational databases and standard query languages
Strong problem-solving skills with a drive for researching and identifying solutions
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.)
0-2 years of relevant experience
