What You’ll Do… This position is located in Houston, TX.
Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles.
The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time in-person internships.
The summer 2026 internship is expected to begin on May 17, 2026.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Applying Generative AI to automate data interpretation, scenario generation, and decision support across E&P workflows
Designing agentic workflows that autonomously orchestrate data processing, model execution, and engineering decision support
Utilizing generative machine learning techniques in subsurface modelling and analysis
The application of machine learning to interactive subsurface interpretative workflows
Employing machine learning to solve geophysical inverse problems
Building federated learning architecture
Developing models from satellite data to estimate greenhouse gas emission
Simulating subsurface carbon storage projects
Generating geomechanics models for wellbore stability prediction
Developing reservoir proxy models for rapid simulation and optimization of field development scenarios What You’ll Bring to Our Team Required Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required.
PhD students with expertise in the field of geoscience, engineering, or computer science.
Prior experience in scientific coding, data science, or machine learning is required. What We Offer… Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.
