Network Team Leader – 6‑Month Fixed Term Contract

Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our global client an experienced Network Team Leader to oversee a global Network team responsible for LAN, WAN, firewall and internet access services. This leadership role focuses on people management, service quality, process adherence and effective prioritisation of BAU, backlog and project tasks.

Its hybrid working, 3 days in their Glasgow city centre office, 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

Manage day‑to‑day activity, performance and workloads
Allocate resources based on skills and capacity
Monitor SLAs/KPIs and drive high service standards
Conduct regular 1:1s and support team development
Ensure compliance with security, change and operational processes
Identify risks and implement mitigation actions

Service Quality & Improvement

Ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery
Oversee smooth implementation of changes
Promote continuous improvement across processes

Agile Ways of Working

Lead Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives)
Support task prioritisation and iterative delivery
Encourage adaptability and learning

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Act as primary contact for technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Promote clear communication across IT teams

About You

Essential

Strong team leadership and people‑management experience
Able to manage escalations and complex workloads
Experience delivering BAU and small projects using Agile methods
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
Experience working across global teams/time zones
Familiar with Jira, ITSM tools (e.g., Cherwell, ServiceNow) and MS Office

Desired

Agile certifications (AgilePM, Scrum, SAFe)
Solid understanding of networking and cloud networking
