Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Lead IT Business Analyst at our Franklin, TN Americas' Headquarters.
A Day in Life:
Supports one or more products within the value stream by translating business needs into clear requirements, aligning solution priorities with Product Managers, and ensuring proposed approaches follow organizational standards. Partners with internal and outsourced development teams to clarify expectations, validate deliverables, and maintain quality and timely execution while contributing to continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Additional Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison across departments, vendors, and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications, facilitating communication, and guiding or coordinating other analysts when needed. Collaborate with Technical team on technical design and implementation for assigned products. Oversee code quality, security, and performance through reviews and automation.
Manage incidents and production support, working with multiple third-party vendors, interpreting technical issues, reviewing logs or source logic, and ensuring timely resolution and effective maintenance.
Lead requirements gathering and documentation, using interviews, workshops, workflow analysis, and enterprise methodologies to produce business requirements, functional specs, use cases, interface designs, and testing artifacts.
Apply strong analytical, technical, and managerial skills, including familiarity with programming environments, agile delivery, project and risk management, and the ability to evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, and drive clarity.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, influencing decisions, building consensus, challenging assumptions, and interacting professionally with executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
Support organizational goals across domains and regions, working autonomously, adapting to shifting priorities or off-hours needs, contributing to feasibility studies and cost analyses, and engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Who We're Looking for:
Years of Experience required:
7+ years of relevant experience with at least:
5+ years of working in application development environment experience.
5+ years experience in working with third party vendors.
Prior experience working with offshore personnel is a plus.
Project management experience a plus.
Technical Competencies:
Quality Analytics Leadership: Proven ability to lead and support multiple Quality Analytics initiatives across complex, enterprise-level environments.
Technical Stack Expertise: Hands-on experience with a diverse technology ecosystem, including:
Mainframe systems
Big Data platforms
Snowflake
AWS Cloud
Tableau and Power BI
Java
Machine Learning tools and frameworks
Salesforce Proficiency: Ability to collaborate across organizational structures to co-own and manage warranty workflows within Salesforce, ensuring data quality, operational accuracy, and effective process integration.
Agentforce Experience: Familiarity with Agentforce, with the capability to support workflow optimization, analytics enablement, and alignment between business and technical teams.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
