Burendo is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with AWS experience to help design, build, and support modern cloud platforms across a range of exciting projects.
You’ll work closely with engineers and clients to enable secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery, owning platforms from build through to production.
What You’ll Do
Build and operate AWS-based platforms
Automate infrastructure using Terraform or similar
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Support and improve live production systems
Collaborate via pairing and mobbing
Mentor engineers and promote best practices
What You’ll Bring
Strong experience with AWS
Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or equivalent)
CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Coding/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Java)
Solid Git and source control knowledge
Agile delivery experience
Experience supporting live products
Database experience (SQL or NoSQL)
Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
NoSQL experience (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Consulting, public sector, Retail or Financial Services experience
Community involvement (blogs, meetups, talks)
