About the role:

Join the Global Manufacturing Systems & Automation team as the Global Automation & Manufacturing systems Lead. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring successful strategy and execution of major hyper-scale projects, representing a total investment of approximately €3 billion. This includes the vairous global projects, which involves the construction of two new state-of-the-art factories focused on insulin production, as well as the development of a significant new monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) production facility in France. Your mission will be to ensure that cutting-edge technologies are integrated, that global standards are applied, and that progress is closely monitored to meet project objectives.

Main responsibilities:

Ensuring the application of global standards: Guarantee that global automation standards are consistently implemented across all MEGA projects, adapting them as needed.
Drive technological innovation: Promote the integration of cutting-edge automation technologies within MEGA projects to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Provide support for project execution: Guide MEGA project teams to apply standards and innovations effectively, while closely monitoring their progress.
Guarantee compliance with regulations: Verify that all automation systems in MEGA projects adhere to industry regulations and meet quality standards.
Leverage strategic partnerships: Maximize relationships with key vendors to provide the necessary tools and technologies for project success.
Facilitate resource allocation: Work with stakeholders to secure the appropriate resources, budgeting, and staffing for the successful execution of MEGA projects.

About you:

Experience: Proven expertise in factory automation technologies and systems integration (DCS/MES), with leadership experience managing large-scale automation projects across multiple sites, or within a global function.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for mentoring and developing cross-functional teams. Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Systems, Automation, Robotics, IoT and OT Cyber Security.
Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field is ideal
Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of life science regulations and compliance standards, particularly in automation within manufacturing environments
