Job Title: Process Engineer Role Summary: Lead process design, review, and implementation for chemical API manufacturing, ensuring containment, safety, and regulatory compliance across all stages of development and production. Expectations: * 6‑month contract with strong potential for extension. * 4+ years of direct API process engineering experience. * Must have right to work in Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct design reviews, PFD/P&ID creation, material/energy balances, and walkdowns. * Design and maintain containment systems (isolators, gloveboxes, flexible containment). * Lead process safety activities: HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR, vent sizing. * Oversee C&Q: IQ/Q, protocol execution, ongoing verification. * Manage automation and control systems (DeltaV, regulated systems), including change control. Required Skills: * Expertise in chemical API processing, powder handling, mixing, isolation, drying. * Proficiency in process safety risk management (HAZID, HAZOP, DSEAR). * Knowledge of containment design and operation. * Strong understanding of equipment PFD/P&ID, material/energy balances, walkdowns. * Experience with C&Q IQ/Q, protocol execution. * Familiarity with DeltaV and regulated automation systems. Job Description
Job title: Utilities Engineer Role Summary: Design, implement, commission, and qualify clean utility systems (WFI, clean steam, compressed air, nitrogen, etc.) for a large-scale pharmaceutical expansion project, ensuring GMP compliance and project milestones are met. Expectations: - Deliver clean utility solutions that meet stringent GMP and regulatory standards. - Coordinate all phases of design, installation, qualification, and handover. - Communicate effectively with engineering consultants, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the design and specification of clean utility systems in accordance with GMP and project requirements. 2. Oversee commissioning, FAT/SAT, and qualification activities, ensuring documentation accuracy. 3. Coordinate with engineering consultants, vendors, and internal teams to secure timely delivery and integration. 4. Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, validation, and commissioning. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve clean utility issues during project execution. 6. Collaborate with process, CQV, and automation teams to align utility performance with overall plant operations.
