Job Specifications

Non profit organization in Manhattan seeks a temporary Program Coordinator to support a team. Must be able to handle conflicting priorities across various teams. The ideal candidate will have at least a few years of experience with program management and grants.

Hybrid role, 4 days in office

Hours: 9-5

Pay $35-40/hr

6 month contract with possible extension

Responsibilities

Support the team with coordination and administrative needs, contributing to impactful projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across grant administration, research, and coordination tasks.
Engage in research and analysis and prepare background materials, memos, and communications for internal and external engagements.
Document stakeholder engagements using Salesforce and support internal communication efforts.
Provide logistical support for meetings, including researching invitees and managing invitations.
Track timelines and coordinate contributors for priorities.
Support internal communications and contribute to team projects collaboratively.
Perform additional assigned duties to ensure smooth team operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, business, or related field.
Minimum three years of experience, with five years preferred.
Proficiency with Salesforce and grant management tools.
Strong project management skills, particularly in logistics and event coordination.
Basic research and analytical abilities with clear summarization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative mindset and adaptability to team dynamics.
