SAP SAC / Datasphere Consultant
3/6 Month Contract
French and English speaking
Paris / Remote
Main Role:
Design, implement, and optimize planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring model consistency, data quality, and business adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis & Scoping
- Gather requirements from Finance, Management Control, HR, and Operations teams.
- Participate in scoping workshops (P&L, OPEX/CAPEX plan, Workforce Planning, Forecasting).
- Define the scope, indicators, versions, workflows, and planning constraints.
- Write functional and technical specifications.
SAC Planning Design and Modeling:
- Build planning models (dimensions, hierarchies, key figures, versions, etc.).
- Define calculation strategies: allocation rules, spreads, drivers, Smart Predict.
- Design data entry, simulation, and consolidation processes.
- Implement planning workflows and validation cycles.
Data integration:
- Establish connections with S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere, or external sources.
- Configure Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and import/export.
User interface development:
- Develop user stories, analytical applications, and input forms.
- Create a seamless, intuitive, and business-oriented user experience.
- Configure widgets, tables, charts, input forms, and parameters.
Testing & deployment:
- Prepare and execute unit and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor migration and deployment.
- Document the entire solution.
Support & guidance:
- Train users on SAC Planning.
- Provide post-deployment support, analyze incidents, and enhance models.
- Proactively suggest improvements to planning processes.
