Position Summary:

A well-established, stable and growing organization within the financial services industry is seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join their dynamic technology team. You will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions and utilize your knowledge and experience of the Microsoft technology stack to drive innovation and deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Implementation - Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies including C#, Angular, and Entity Framework. Ensure applications are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
Cloud Integration - Utilize Microsoft Azure cloud services to support scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Database Development & Management - Design, implement, and maintain efficient database structures using SQL Server and Entity Framework to support application functionality and performance.
Code Quality & Best Practices - Follow established development standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and implement automated testing to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Technical Problem Solving - Analyze and resolve technical issues by troubleshooting and debugging software applications in a timely manner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and development team members to clarify requirements, provide development estimates, and support successful project delivery.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of professional software development experience within the Microsoft technology stack.
Experience working in Non-Agile development environments.
AI experience with Anthropic's Claude is an ideal plus.
Financial Services industry background is highly desirable.

Required Technical Skills:

.NET Framework and .NET Core
C# programming language
Angular framework
Entity Framework
Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, Storage)
SQL Server database design and management
Experience with Microsoft Power Apps
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
