AI Architect/Engineer - London (Hybrid 3 days) - £80k - £85k

I am currently looking for an experienced AI Architect / Engineer to join our client in London. This is a senior, client-facing role at the forefront of Generative AI and Agentic AI, where you will combine strategic advisory, solution architecture, and hands-on technical leadership to deliver transformative AI solutions for enterprise clients.

You will play a key role in shaping innovative AI strategies, designing enterprise-grade AI systems, and leading high-impact implementations across modern cloud platforms.

The Role

Client Engagement

Partner with sales and consulting teams to qualify opportunities, shape proposals, and develop compelling business cases.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading discovery sessions, workshops, and bid processes.
Support RFI/RFP responses and proposal development.

Solution Design

Translate business requirements into scalable Data & AI architectures.
Design GenAI, Agentic AI, and automation solutions across enterprise environments.
Architect solutions on modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Technical Leadership

Lead the design and delivery of complex AI implementations that drive measurable business value.
Architect and scale GenAI chatbots and autonomous/agentic AI solutions.
Evaluate and select the most appropriate models, frameworks, and orchestration tools.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

Contribute to AI thought leadership and go-to-market propositions.
Stay ahead of trends in Generative AI, LLMs, and enterprise AI platforms.
Drive innovation, productivity improvements, and cost optimisation across solutions.

Collaboration

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and design impactful solutions.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience architecting solutions in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and automation.
