Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Business Solutions Developer to join our client’s Business Performance team in Calgary. This position focuses on the technical development and engineering of solutions that enable system, data, and process automation.
You should have advance technical skills in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps). Azure application development, Python scripting and Spotfire.
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 am to 4:30pm
Job type: Full-time | 12-month contract
Responsibilities:
Responsible for building and implementing business process, system, and data automation initiatives through technical requirement documentation, solution design, development, testing, and deployment to business stakeholders.
Build and optimize automation, reporting, and analytics solutions using: Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) Azure application development, Python scripting, Spotfire.
Building and deploying solutions related to land and well data, analytics, and reporting.
Execute development tasks, participate in technical reviews, and drive results, ensuring effective outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
Collaborate closely with operations, land, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure solution adoption.
Drive change management activities, including documentation, communication, training, and user support.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong working relationships across departments.
Qualifications:
Post‑secondary education in Petroleum, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the oil and gas industry, or equivalent education and experience.
Advanced technical experience with: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure application development, Python scripting and Spotfire.
Advanced technical analysis capabilities, including solution design, data analysis, validation, unit testing.
Experience with upstream Land and Well applications such as WellView, Siteview, CS Land, Execute, and StackDx.
Strong verbal and written communication, exceptional attention to detail, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet development milestones.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Calgary, AB.
