**Job Title**
Business Analyst, Consumer Payments & Credit Analytics
**Role Summary**
Provide analysis and data-driven insights that shape product, marketing, and financial strategy for consumer payments and credit products. Build pro‑forma financial models, perform share‑of‑wallet and customer segmentation analyses, and develop ETL pipelines to support advanced analytics. Present findings to senior leadership and influence investment, pricing, and product roadmap decisions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver actionable recommendations that directly impact product launches, marketing campaigns, and profitability.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations to align insights with business objectives.
- Maintain data integrity and high analytical accuracy while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Financial Strategy & Business Modeling**
- Build and own pro‑forma financial models for new initiatives, pricing, and product enhancements.
- Conduct deep share‑of‑wallet analysis and identify growth opportunities.
- Create business cases for strategic investments and new product launches.
- Analyze profitability, cost structures, and ROI across marketing and product portfolios.
2. **Marketing Insights & Customer Strategy**
- Partner with Marketing to evaluate campaign performance, acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Design and implement advanced customer segmentation frameworks.
- Monitor and report on behavior trends, channel usage, digital engagement, and lifecycle patterns.
- Support A/B testing and experimentation to refine messaging and customer journeys.
3. **Data‑Driven Decision Making**
- Query and manage large‑scale datasets in Snowflake.
- Build ETL pipelines to prepare data for analysis.
- Create executive‑ready dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, Qlik, and Sigma.
- Promote a data‑driven culture and adoption of self‑service BI tools across the business.
4. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration**
- Bridge data and strategy, working with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
- Influence senior leadership through clear, compelling presentations and strategic recommendations.
**Required Skills**
- SQL (advanced) and experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake.
- Python or SAS for statistical analysis and modeling.
- Advanced Excel for complex financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Proficiency in BI tools: Tableau, Qlik, and Sigma (Sigma experience highly valued).
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for varied audiences.
- Strategic mindset, collaborative partner, and meticulous attention to detail.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, or marketing analytics (experience in payments, credit, or financial services is a major plus).
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
