Job Title: Epic Owner – Data & ETL Modernization (PowerCenter Replacement)
Role Summary: Own the enterprise‑wide transformation of the legacy on‑prem PowerCenter ETL platform to a cloud‑ready data integration solution (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, dbt). Define vision, roadmap, and success metrics; orchestrate Agile Release Trains, ensuring alignment with business value, security, and delivery.
Expectations: Deliver a migration program that replaces PowerCenter with a scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud integration platform, achieving defined MVPs and measurable business outcomes while maintaining data governance, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead RFI/RFP, vendor selection, and procurement collaboration to choose appropriate cloud integration tools.
- Articulate target vision, create the roadmap, and prioritize epics within the SAFe framework.
- Own epics, business cases, MVPs, and success metrics; translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Manage cross‑ART coordination, PI planning, stakeholder alignment, dependencies, risks, and priorities.
- Champion data governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Drive change management, adoption, and communication plans for end users and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in data integration, ETL, or data engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and current cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, IICS, dbt, etc.).
- Proven experience as an Epic Owner, Product Owner, or Project Manager in SAFe or large‑scale Agile environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and business‑to‑tech translation capabilities.
- Structured, analytical mindset with a focus on ownership and continuous delivery.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- SAFe Program Consultant or equivalent Agile certification highly preferred.
