Job Description

**Job Title** Sr. Software Engineer – ServiceNow **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow-based ITSM solutions. Lead feature development, architect integrations, and drive tool strategy for SaaS environments. Collaborate across IT, operations, and business units to deliver robust, compliance‑aligned service solutions. **Expectations** - Minimum 2 years of experience in ITSM/IT services or consulting. - 2 + years coding within ServiceNow or comparable platforms. - Proven ability to translate ITIL/COBIT, IT4IT frameworks into technical solutions. - Fluent in English (written & spoken). - Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop ServiceNow features, extensions, and custom applications. - Design and implement database‑level integrations (ETL), REST/Soap web services, and API interfaces. - Configure and maintain CMDB, IMDB, and ITOM components where applicable. - Collaborate with architects to shape tool strategy and system design. - Ensure security, authentication, and compliance using LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other technologies. - Deliver documentation and support for deployed solutions. **Required Skills** - ServiceNow development (Scripting, UI/UX, APIs). - Web technologies: XML, HTML, JavaScript. - ETL/Database integration, SQL. - API design (REST/Soap). - SaaS architecture and micro‑services mindset. - ITIL Foundation and familiarity with COBIT, IT4IT. - Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL, and related security protocols. - Strong understanding of CMDB, IMDB; ITOM experience is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. - ITIL Foundation certification (mandatory). - Additional certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., SA, ADM) or ITFM frameworks advantageous.
