**Job Title:**
Lending Operations Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead daily funding and booking operations for a large financial institution, ensuring SLA compliance and operational excellence. Serve as the primary liaison for offshore teams, support system migration and modernization initiatives, and drive automation projects to improve efficiency.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality, SLA‑compliant funding (≤ 24 hrs) and booking (≤ 48 hrs) transactions.
- Oversee and improve day‑one origination workflows, maintaining clear communication across internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in change management, process improvement, and technical enablement activities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
*Operational Oversight & Support*
- Supervise offshore funding and booking operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Provide backup for day‑to‑day funding/booking tasks and wire processing.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, escalating urgent priorities as needed.
*Stakeholder Management & Communication*
- Act as the onshore liaison for deal review specialists, offshore teams, and account managers.
- Communicate status updates, resolve inquiries, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
*Strategic & Project Support*
- Lead SME/tester duties for system migration, gathering requirements, testing, and readiness activities.
- Contribute to change management initiatives, readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, and execution planning.
- Participate in program planning and risk analysis to drive operational improvements.
*Data & Reporting*
- Collect, analyze, and format data into dashboards and reports for performance tracking and exception management.
- Monitor SLA performance, proactively addressing issues.
*Automation & Technical Enablement*
- Support automation and workflow optimization with SharePoint, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365.
- Leverage SQL, Python, JavaScript, or AI/coding tools to enhance operational efficiency (preferred).
**Required Skills:**
- 2+ years of experience in financial services operations, program/project coordination, or business analysis.
- Prior leadership experience (team or project lead).
- Strong verbal and written communication, with influence and collaboration capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SharePoint, Power Apps, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Technical skills in SQL, Python, JavaScript, or AI/coding tools (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Relevance of certifications in project management, financial operations, or related disciplines considered an advantage.
