**Job Title**: Director of Sales – Southern U.S. **Role Summary**: Lead sales growth and distributor relationships across the Southern U.S. region for a wine portfolio. Travel 30‑50% seasonal. **Key Responsibilities** - Own sales performance across the Southern region, managing ~9 active markets and building new distribution. - Lead distributor management: grow existing partners, identify new opportunities, conduct ride‑withs, market work, and key account calls. - Drive go‑to‑market strategy for a focused wine portfolio. - Build target account lists and collaborate with off‑premise chains and key accounts. - Develop and execute pricing, programming, and sales strategies with limited data. - Track performance, budgets, and execution using internal tools and Excel. - Hold distributors accountable through regular reviews and performance tracking. **Required Skills** - 5+ years in wine or spirits sales with multi‑state exposure preferred. - Proven distributor management and business development experience. - Strong business acumen (pricing, margin awareness). - Comfortable working with small‑to‑mid sized distributors. - Self‑motivated, independent, and polished communicator. - Willingness to travel 30‑50% per season. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
