**Job Title:** Training Needs Analyst **Role Summary:** Contractual (6 months, full‑time) role focused on analysing DSAT documentation and delivering training needs evaluations for military training courses. Responsibilities include producing, maintaining, and reviewing DSAT‑compliant courseware, conducting skills and attribute analyses, and collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define learning solutions. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate DSAT‑aligned training designs and documentation within agreed timelines. - Conduct thorough needs analyses to capture new or changing training requirements. - Interface effectively with customers, SMEs, and internal teams to validate findings. - Ensure all outputs comply with MOD procedures, policies, and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT). **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyse customer specifications to identify and capture updated training requirements. - Produce, maintain, and update DSAT training designs and documentation. - Perform Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes/Attributes (KSAA) analysis to determine required learning levels. - Review existing training materials and recommend improvements. - Conduct interviews with SMEs to gather necessary data. - Participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree on analysis findings. - Collaborate with team members on the design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT documentation for military training. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in a Defence environment as a Training Needs Analyst or Courseware Analyst. - Deep knowledge of DSAT principles, MOD procedures, and policies. - Strong analytical skills to evaluate training data and translate into actionable solutions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all organizational levels. - Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks and deliver on deadlines. - Familiarity with knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSAA) analysis frameworks. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum requirement: Active Security Clearance (SC). - Relevant educational background in Defence Studies, Training Development, or related field is preferred. - No mandatory degree specified, but equivalent professional experience is acceptable.
