Job title: Risk Management & Safety Officer Role Summary: Lead organization‑wide safety and risk initiatives, ensuring compliance with OR‑OSHA, developing and enforcing safety policies, conducting incident investigations, and delivering training across all departments. Expactations: Exhibit strong communication and influence skills, independently drive cross‑department projects, build safety culture, and maintain continuous compliance. Key Responsibilities - Oversee OR‑OSHA compliance and develop safety policies. - Reestablish and manage organization‑wide safety program, including committees, risk assessments, and preventive measures. - Investigate incidents, coordinate insurance claims, and collaborate with Police, Public Works, and Facilities to mitigate risks. - Build and administer safety, cybersecurity, and emergency management training programs. - Research, apply for, and manage safety‑related grants.
