**Job Title:** Solution Architect (Dynamics 365 & Power Platform)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the architectural design and delivery of enterprise‑scale solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Customer Engagement, and the Power Platform. Drive digital transformation across customer, product, and service processes, ensuring secure, accessible, and efficient systems for a public sector client over a 2‑year fixed‑term contract.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end solution architecture that meets business, security, and integration requirements.
- Align technical designs with UK Government security guidelines and best practice frameworks.
- Maintain high quality code, documentation, and stakeholder communication throughout the engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and procure Dynamics 365 Customer Service/Customer Engagement configurations.
- Develop and integrate Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, and Dataverse use cases.
- Build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate integration patterns (Power Automate vs other options).
- Ensure web accessibility (WCAG v2.1 AA), multi‑language support (Welsh), and OWASP/top‑ten security compliance.
- Apply UX design principles and lead user experience implementation.
- Implement Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD B2C identity federation, SSO, and role‑based access controls.
- Enforce Secure‑by‑Design practices and document security roles and controls.
- Model and support customer, claim/case management, and financial transaction processes and reporting.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Customer Engagement.
- Advanced proficiency with Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
- Deep knowledge of integration options, including use of Power Automate.
- Strong background in web technologies, WCAG v2.1 AA, multi‑language web deployments, and OWASP top‑ten practices.
- UX design expertise and hands‑on implementation.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD B2C, identity federation, and SSO.
- Proficiency in security role configuration and access control.
- Understanding of Secure‑by‑Design frameworks and UK Government security guidelines.
- Business domain knowledge of customer management, claims/case management, financial transaction processing, and reporting.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure AD Fundamentals, or equivalent).
