Job Description
Job title: HRIS Data Validation Specialist Role Summary: Short‑term (3‑month) remote contract to support the migration of employee data from Workday to Rippling. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accurate transfer, compliance, and continuity of HR operations. Expectations: - Deliver timely, accurate validation work within a full‑time schedule. - Maintain confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations. - Communicate findings and corrective actions clearly to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Extract and export custom reports from Workday (demographics, payroll, benefits, performance). - Conduct detailed analysis of large Excel spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting. - Identify and document inconsistencies, duplicates, missing values, and formatting errors between source and target datasets. - Resolve data issues through corrective actions or escalation to appropriate teams. - Maintain audit‑ready documentation of validation processes and outcomes. Required Skills: - Minimum 2 years of HR data management experience, preferably with Workday. - Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting). - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Ability to handle sensitive confidential information responsibly. - Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a full‑time setting. - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Workday certification or experience with Workday EIB/CSV import is preferred.
