**Job Title:**
Senior Investment Operations Manager – Fund Accounting
**Role Summary:**
Contract Senior Investment Operations Manager responsible for leading a high‑performing investment accounting team, overseeing all fund reporting processes (Group, internal, IFRS, Solvency II), managing third‑party provider relationships, and enhancing accounting, reporting and governance for unit‑linked and shareholder funds.
**Expectations:**
- 3 month contract, hybrid arrangement (2 days/week on site).
- Deliver accurate, timely fund reporting and statutory regulatory compliance.
- Drive process improvements, manage team performance, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Support fund transitions, reorganisations, and investment governance projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage the investment accounting and administration team.
- Oversee all fund reporting processes (Group, internal, IFRS, Solvency II).
- Manage relationships and performance of custodians, fund managers, pricing agents and other third‑party providers.
- Develop and enhance accounting, reporting and governance processes for unit‑linked and shareholder funds.
- Provide expert advice on the investment accounting impacts of product, system, and fund structure changes.
- Support key projects such as fund transitions, reorganisations, and investment governance activities.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in investment accounting, financial control, and life & pensions fund accounting.
- Strong understanding of investment operations, unit pricing, box management, valuation processes.
- Proven experience in leading and managing investment accounting teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in financial services.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
