DevOps Engineer – SC Cleared

Cheltenham (office-based, 5 days)

£40,000 – £55,000 + attractive benefits

37.5 hours per week

Clearance: Active SC required | Must be eligible for DV (UK passport holder)

Are you ready to take the next step in your DevOps career and make a real impact? We’re looking for a Consultant DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing, collaborative tech environment delivering secure, high-quality solutions to our clients.

You’ll work closely with software engineers, IT operations, and product teams, helping to build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure that enables rapid and efficient delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
Building Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Supporting cloud & hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Implementing DevSecOps practices
Working with containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Automating operational tasks and improving system reliability
Troubleshooting production issues and driving continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

2+ years’ experience in a DevOps role
CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI
Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Scripting skills: Bash, Python, or similar
Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
