**Job Title:**
Network Architect – Senior IP Network Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, implement, and operate large‑scale, multi‑site IP networks. Lead architecture for L3 IP, Multi‑VRF/VRF‑Lite, IP/MPLS, campus/multi‑VLAN switching, cyber security, and wireless infrastructures. Provide technical guidance, vendor management, and operational support across life‑cycle of deployments.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver comprehensive network designs that balance capacity, reliability, and cost.
- Define and execute test plans for new technologies and architectures.
- Manage vendor implementation and integration.
- Coach internal teams through workshops, procedures, and knowledge transfer.
- Write technical rules, procedures, and standards for daily operations.
- Analyze complex faults and define preventive measures.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, design, implement and maintain L3 IP networks, Multi‑VRF, VRF‑Lite, IP/MPLS, campus and multi‑VLAN switching.
- Deploy and manage cyber security solutions: firewalls, DMZ, IPS, authentication, IPsec/DMPV etc.
- Design wireless infrastructures with lightweight APs and central switching.
- Create and manage test plans for new network components.
- Coordinate vendor activities during deployment, expansion, and incident resolution.
- Provide operational support to network teams and troubleshoot critical incidents.
- Update and enforce technical rules for configuration, inventory, backups, and monitoring.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of L3 IP, IP/MPLS, Multi‑VRF, VRF‑Lite.
- Expertise in campus/multi‑VLAN switching.
- Proficiency with firewall/DMZ, IPS, authentication, IPsec VPN, DMVPN, FLEXVPN.
- Wireless design: central switching, lightweight access points.
- Vendor management, workshop facilitation, test plan development.
- Troubleshooting complex fault scenarios, preventive maintenance.
- Familiarity with Nokia SR‑OS routers (asset).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid B driving licence.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Relevant networking certifications (CCNP/CCIE, etc.) preferred.
