**Job Title:**
Tech Support Lead – Geospatial (Telecoms)
**Role Summary:**
Lead and manage the application support team for telecom geospatial systems, delivering L2/L3 support, root‑cause analysis, and operational stability across OSS, B2B, wholesale, and corporate domains. Drive automation, change management, and capacity/disaster‑recovery activities while mentoring junior staff.
**Expectations:**
- 10+ years of telecom application support experience.
- Proven leadership of support teams and adherence to ITIL processes.
- Expertise in ArcGIS, Hexagon Geospatial Portal, Oracle Spatial, and .NET.
- Ability to automate manual tasks, manage releases, and ensure system resilience.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide L2/L3 support and maintenance for geospatial telecom applications.
- Lead daily operations, guide junior resources, and develop SOPs.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis, problem management, and create workarounds.
- Plan, coordinate, and deploy changes in pre‑production and production environments.
- Automate manual jobs (e.g., CSIP processes) using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Monitor system vulnerabilities, track fixes, and perform capacity management.
- Execute disaster‑recovery drills, including failover testing.
**Required Skills:**
- ArcGIS, Hexagon, Hexagon Geospatial Portal, Oracle Spatial, .NET.
- ITIL framework knowledge and team‑leadership experience.
- Hands‑on with GCOOMS, GCP, Kubernetes.
- Unix/Linux OS, Shell scripting, SQL/PL‑SQL.
- Basic Java knowledge and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ArcGIS, Oracle, Kubernetes) are a plus.
