**Job Title**
Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain global network, server, and cloud infrastructure with a cloud‑first strategy. Ensure reliable operation of virtual, physical, and Azure‑based environments, supporting migrations, deployments, and ongoing platform services.
**Expectations**
- Deliver scalable, secure infrastructure solutions across on‑premise and cloud platforms.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using scripting and IaC tools.
- Maintain high availability of networking, server, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive migration and modernization projects.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and performance optimization for all infrastructure components.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect, deploy, and manage IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions in Azure.
- Administer Windows Server services, Exchange Online/Exchange 2019 hybrid, and SQL Server/Azure SQL.
- Implement and maintain WAN/LAN, VPN, and datacenter networking hardware and cabling.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar).
- Monitor, patch, and secure infrastructure components; manage licensing compliance.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce documentation, diagrams, and operational run‑books for platform services.
**Required Skills**
- Strong experience with Azure services, frameworks, and Azure AD integration.
- Proficiency in Windows Server architecture, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Hands‑on knowledge of networking concepts (WAN/LAN, VPN, routing, switching).
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar) and container platforms.
- Scripting/automation: PowerShell, Terraform, or comparable IaC tools.
- Expertise in Exchange Online/Exchange 2019 hybrid and SQL Server/Azure SQL deployment.
- Familiarity with physical infrastructure design, cabling, and datacenter operations.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, or similar.
