Job Title: Head of Global IT
Role Summary: Lead the transformation of the global IT organization from a maintenance-focused function to a strategic, AI-driven, secure, and scalable enterprise technology arm. Own strategy, budget, vendor relationships, and a team of 8 across service desk, network architecture, and systems & integrations.
Expectations: Deliver a unified, scalable IT operation with modern tooling, real AI adoption across the company, ISO/SOC 2‑compliant security posture, and a competitive lab environment within 12–18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global IT strategy and roadmap covering security, AI, infrastructure, and scalability.
- Own the AI enablement program: design governance, promote safe adoption, manage cost and risk.
- Oversee a hybrid environment (on‑prem, cloud, Hyper‑V, Azure), eliminating legacy fragmentation and consolidating tooling.
- Manage IT budget, vendor contracts (Microsoft, Palo Alto, SOC partner, SaaS vendors), and procurement.
- Lead a global IT team (Service Desk, Network Architecture, Systems & Integrations); ensure operational excellence in identity, endpoint, networking, security, and ITSM.
- Build and maintain the Lansweeper LAB: VM provisioning, asset lifecycle, DevOps integration, automation.
- Serve as primary beta tester for Lansweeper’s internal deployments, feeding product insights to the Product team.
- Lead security governance to protect against external threats while enabling fast, ISO/SOC 2‑aligned operations.
- Report directly to the COO, participate in leadership decisions, and influence business growth.
Required Skills:
- Proven executive IT leadership (IT Manager, Head of IT) in an international, multi‑site environment.
- Deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise: Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, M365.
- Hands‑on network & security architecture: Palo Alto, Prisma Access, SIEM/SOC.
- Hybrid infrastructure knowledge: on‑prem, cloud, Hyper‑V, Azure.
- Experience driving enterprise AI adoption, governance, and enablement.
- Strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and execution.
- Pragmatic governance mindset balancing security and speed.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Advanced, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer, SIEM certifications) preferred.
