Job Description
Job title: Senior Navy Analyst Role Summary: Lead programmatic support for the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) and Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) LCAC 100 Class program. Manage lifecycle activities, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with Navy Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and configuration management processes. Expactations: Acquire and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Serve as primary liaison to LCAC stakeholders, deliver accurate status updates, and address inquiries promptly. Develop and manage business plans, task planning sheets, and configuration change documentation. Mentor and oversee a team of LCAC support specialists. Coordinate contract data requirements and sustain life‑extension initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Provide lead programmatic support to LCAC Assistant Program Manager and LCAC Transition & Execution Manager. - Supervise daily activities of the LCAC Support Team, delivering mentorship and training. - Develop and maintain the annual LCAC Business Plan using PPBE. - Create and submit Task Planning Sheets in the Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS). - Coordinate business plan management with Program Office stakeholders. - Lead configuration change processes for LCAC and LCAC 100 class craft fleetwide. - Manage Contract Data Requirements Lists for the LCAC Extended Service Life Extension Program (E‑SLEP). - Provide rapid-response briefings, business case analyses, schedule oversight, and support to the customer. - Communicate daily program status and resolve concerns with the customer. - Attend and document staff meetings, budget reviews, and other relevant gatherings. - Perform integrated data environment (IDE) tasking and other assigned duties. - Travel to support Program Office needs as required. Required Skills - 8–10 years of relevant defense or program management experience (or 12+ years in lieu of a degree). - Strong critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and personnel simultaneously. - Expertise in Navy PPBE processes and DoD financial management policies. - Experience with Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) and Integrated Data Environment (IDE). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). - Leadership experience managing or directing team taskings. - Ability to work on‑site at a Navy yard when required. - Current DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
