Job Title: Senior Category Manager

Location: EMEA

Remuneration: PS50.00 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary until 30th June 2026, Full Time

Responsibilities:

Category Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct materials that align with business goals. Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes while driving value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management:

Monitor KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Right-First-Time metrics. Conduct regional QBR/SBR processes, enhancing efficiency and action orientation. Foster strong supplier relationships through effective contract and risk management.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., DCE, DCD, SQ, H&S) to ensure technical and operational alignment. Serve as a strategic partner to project teams, proactively resolving supply issues while ensuring a seamless end-to-end process with engineering and operations.

Process & Systems:

Standardize procurement processes to meet SLAs. Support the implementation of SAP/Ariba/iCertis/MDM/IBP, driving process simplification and digitization, with an interest in AI procurement tools.

People & Culture:

Promote diversity and inclusion in supplier engagements. Mentor junior team members, contributing to regional empowerment and capability building.

Background and Experience:

Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management for direct materials.
Strong commercial experience with complex cost structures and a history of successful negotiations.
Familiarity with datacenter or industrial procurement environments.
Proficiency in procurement systems including SAP, Ariba, and iCertis.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Degree in business, engineering, supply chain & ops, or technology; a Master's degree is preferred.
Experience in a complex multinational corporate environment is essential.
Ability to navigate a complex matrix organisation to achieve results.
Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom in and out for effective reporting.
Experience with supplier performance frameworks and technical submittals.
