What We're Working On
We're supporting a client in defining and structuring a new technical initiative centered around financial systems and workflows. This includes collaborating directly with a fintech subject matter expert (SME) to capture requirements, prioritize features, and develop a roadmap for execution. The goal is to move from ambiguity to a clear, documented build plan.
What You'll Do
As a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master, you'll lead Agile ceremonies, ensuring alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
You'll serve as the central point of coordination, driving clarity on requirements, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Translate business objectives into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
Track project progress, surfacing blockers early and ensuring accountability across teams.
Build and maintain detailed project documentation, including technical workflows, integration points, and success metrics.
Act as a liaison between product owners, engineers, QA, and leadership to ensure priorities are aligned and transparent.
Support continuous improvement by implementing Agile best practices and coaching team members on process adoption.
Deliver structured status updates and reporting to stakeholders, highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master, ideally in software or data-driven projects.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience adapting frameworks to team and organizational needs.
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical initiatives on time.
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation (user stories, workflows, integration maps, risk logs).
Experience managing dependencies across multiple systems, teams, or vendors.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business value.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-moving environments.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Notion, or Asana.
Ongoing recruitment - no set deadline.
