About the Role
We're looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer (1+ years of experience) to join our team and help design and build a next-generation business application for the oil and gas industry. This platform will track performance and monitor the end-of-life cycle of oil and gas rig equipment. You'll work on transforming complex operational data into a streamlined system for recording, tracking, and reporting on heavily used equipment-improving accuracy, efficiency, and visibility into equipment health and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to design, build, and deploy a full stack application that supports both real-time tracking and long-term reporting of equipment lifecycle.
Develop and maintain APIs and microservices to integrate operational data sources.
Work with data engineering tools and frameworks to ingest, process, and transform datasets into structured formats for analysis and reporting.
Implement intuitive user interfaces with React and Vanilla JavaScript.
Configure and optimize PostgreSQL databases to support performance, reliability, and scalability.
Deploy and manage the application in a Linux-based environment (Ubuntu).
Ensure the system is robust, maintainable, and well-documented.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing new ideas and learning best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
1+ years of experience in full stack or backend development.
Proficiency with Python and familiarity with frameworks such as Prefect or Dagster.
Strong foundation in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
Exposure to data processing libraries such as Pandas, Arrow, and file formats like Parquet.
Experience building UIs with React and Vanilla JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of working in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment.
Understanding of API development and microservices architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with oil and gas operations or other industrial equipment management systems.
Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
