About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative with exceptional lead generation expertise to drive growth within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting prospects into opportunities across multiple industries in the UK and EMEA markets. The ideal candidate combines proven lead generation methodologies with deep Salesforce platform knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Generate 100+ qualified leads monthly through multi-channel prospecting strategies
Develop and execute comprehensive lead generation campaigns targeting Salesforce prospects
Utilise advanced prospecting tools including Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Salesforce Pardot
Conduct strategic cold outreach via phone, email, and social selling techniques
Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries to determine sales readiness
Maintain detailed prospect research and engagement tracking in Salesforce CRM

Pipeline Development

Build and manage a robust pipeline of 200+ active prospects worth PS5M+ annually
Develop targeted account lists and ideal customer profiles for systematic prospecting
Create personalised outreach sequences and follow-up cadences
Schedule and conduct discovery calls to uncover business requirements and pain points
Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise lead generation campaigns and content
Track and report on lead generation metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity

Salesforce Ecosystem Expertise

Leverage comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Platform solutions
Identify prospects' current CRM challenges and position appropriate Salesforce solutions
Partner with Salesforce account teams and certified partners to pursue joint opportunities
Stay current with Salesforce product updates, pricing, and competitive positioning
Attend Salesforce events and webinars to generate leads and build industry relationships

Sales Process Management

Conduct compelling product demonstrations and solution presentations
Develop and deliver customised proposals and business cases
Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation
Coordinate with technical teams for proof-of-concept and solution design activities
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with enterprise prospects
Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in Salesforce CRM

Market Intelligence & Strategy

Research target industries and verticals to identify high-potential prospects
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform lead generation strategies
Develop industry-specific messaging and value propositions
Create and maintain lead scoring models and qualification criteria
Analyse lead source performance and optimise generation channels

Required Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of B2B lead generation experience in technology or SaaS solutions
2+ years working within the Salesforce ecosystem (as partner, user, or vendor) ideally
Proven track record of consistently exceeding lead generation targets
Experience with enterprise-level prospects and complex sales cycles
Demonstrated success in cold calling, email marketing, and social selling

Lead Generation Expertise

Proficiency with lead generation tools including Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, or HubSpot
Experience with marketing automation platforms and lead nurturing campaigns
Strong phone skills with ability to handle 50+ cold calls daily
Expertise in email marketing, A/B testing, and response optimisation
Knowledge of GDPR compliance and data protection in lead generation activities

Salesforce Knowledge

Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM for lead management and pipeline tracking
Understanding of Salesforce product suite and competitive landscape
Familiarity with Salesforce partner ecosystem and implementation services
Knowledge of CRM best practices and sales process optimisation

Skills & Competencies

Experience with video prospecting and social selling techniques
