What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other
business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and
recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Description:

Essential Functions:

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Assists in preparing reports to track LMD, Transportation costs, and budgeting by collaborating with Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, and cross-functional
teams to identify issues or discrepancies and provide solutions that improve efficiency and cost control.
Reviews and approves Proof of Delivery (POD) to ensure accurate and timely processing, while analyzing and validating accessorial charges submitted by carriers and vendors.
Maintains accurate records of all accessorial charges, POD documents, and related documentation for audit purposes, contributing to improved efficiency and cost control.
Identifies key issues and inquiries that need to be addressed by carriers and teams to maintain effective communication and resolve problems.
Handles customer claims in accordance with company policies and industry standards, conducting thorough investigations by gathering necessary documentation and filing claims. Ensures each claim is processed with care and accuracy, preserving trust and credibility with our valued customers.
Along with managing day-to-day operations, collaborates with team members on strategic development and informed decision-making.
Regularly prepares comprehensive reports on carriers' statuses, highlighting any trending issues, to provide a transparent view of carrier performance.
Offers insights into current situations and identifies potential areas for improvement or intervention.
Presents findings to leadership enables informed discussions and decisions on strategies and actions to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Manages the LMD program to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Develops and implements policies and procedures to maintain safe and efficient Transportation operations.
Monitors and analyzes LMD data to identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and resolve issues.
Provides training and development opportunities for Transportation staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business.
