We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator who is interested in working to support the School Admissions team to carry out their work with the children and families of Nottinghamshire, joining a team of administrators handling and processing school admission and free school meal applications for all children within the County. You will also be required to support the appeals process.

You will make and receive calls, input data, check and verify information and work as a team. You will be expected to work towards defined business standards and processes to ensure all information is administrated in line with the Admissions and Appeals Code. You will also be expected to liaise with other departments, schools, other local authorities, and parents/carers whilst handling and processing complex information within coordinated timeframes. In addition, you will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to organise your own workload, be self-motivated to be able to work independently as required. You will have an understanding of safeguarding and the need for confidentiality and data protection.

Relevant training will be provided.

This role is hybrid with an expectation that you work from the office once or twice per week (as required by business needs).

This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
