Contract Type: Full-Time Enhanced DBS required long term until July 2026/2027 PS15 - PS17 a hr

Role Overview
As a School Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our school's administrative functions. You will be responsible for managing student records, assisting with admissions, and providing administrative support to staff, students, and parents. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional administrative services.
Key Responsibilities
Manage student records and data using SIMS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
Assist with student admissions, transfers, and withdrawals, maintaining up-to-date records and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Provide administrative support to the school's senior leadership team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Handle telephone and email inquiries from parents, students, and external agencies, providing information and assistance as required.
Assist with the organization of school events, parent evenings, and other activities, including logistical support and communication with attendees.
Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate recipients.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a tidy and organized office environment, including filing documents and managing office supplies.
Qualifications And Experience
Previous experience in a similar administrative role within an educational setting, preferably at the secondary level.
Proficiency in the use of SIMS (School Information Management System) or similar student information systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
