Job Specifications

TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES:

* Coordinate release and deployment management activities to ensure effective service management;

* Assist in supporting models and managing transition of projects and new services into the business-as-usual model;

* Make improvements to the release process on a regular basis, aiming for consistent, on-time delivery of high quality releases;

* Ensure quality is maintained throughout the service delivery process within area of release and deployment management;

* Coordinate and ensure quality of operational documentation review and delivery;

* Build and maintain strong relationships with operational peers to oversee and ensure all service lines are provided in accordance to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

* Coordinate and align release management activities in the context of the implementation of the Interoperability Roadmap

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum 4 years of relevant education after the secondary school.

EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum 4 years of IT professional experience;

* Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in release and deployment management, including DevOps activities and/or transition into operations activities.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

* Certification in ITIL/ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation and/or ITIL Specialist;

* Certification in DevOps Fundamentals or Foundation;

* Certification in Prince 2 and/or Agile methodologies is considered an asset;

* Good understanding of the software development lifecycle;

* Working experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery is considered an asset;

* Interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
