Requirements:

Proven 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically in designing, maintaining, and evolving a central Digital Platform or similar enterprise environment.
Expert hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git (BitBucket), Maven/Gradle
Experience integrating Nexus Repository Manager for artifact management
Strong skills in Containerisation and Orchestration: Automating builds with Docker and Helm charts, and deploying/scaling applications on OpenShift (OKD/OCP)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally using Terraform and Ansible
Demonstrable experience in DevSecOps: Enforcing security standards by integrating SAST/DAST scanning tools (SonarQube, Veracode, Trivy), managing secrets with HashiCorp Vault, and maintaining secure base images (UBI)
Proficiency in implementing Monitoring and Observability solutions, specifically the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Prometheus/Grafana.
Knowledge of supporting technologies: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka/Solace PubSub+, and strong scripting skills (Python/Bash)
Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, ability to bridge gaps between development and operations teams, and experience working in an Agile/Hybrid DevOps Model
Languages: English (fluent)

Job Description:

Define and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines and automate container builds using Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Helm
Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications within the OpenShift orchestration platform
Standardise and automate release processes, including branching and tagging strategies, and contribute to the evolution of the Digital Platform
Integrate and enforce security standards by implementing SAST/DAST scanning tools and managing secrets using HashiCorp Vault
Implement and maintain centralised logging (ELK stack) and metrics collection (Prometheus, Grafana)
Partner with digital product teams and automation testers to identify bottlenecks and optimise build, test, and deployment workflows
Provide clear guidance and documentation to developers on integrating their products into the Digital Platform environment
